Canadian Credit Union Association

Cybersecurity is a Team Effort

Cyber attacks and data theft are real threats to all Canadians and every credit union. No organization or individual is immune. So how do you make sure you don’t become a victim of cybercrime? Awareness and constant vigilance is the only path to minimize the risk.

CCUA and the LCUC have partnered to bring you useful resources that will help you learn different types of cyber threats and safe browsing habits. Cybersecurity is a team effort. It starts with you at home, then at the workplace and extends throughout our communities. Our aim is to help credit unions and their members across Canada feel confident in using cybersecurity best practices every time they get online.

CCUA also recommends checking out Canada's Anti-Fraud Centre, that has a running list of the latest scams, and Competition Bureau of Canada to discover an even wider range of tips and advice to protect yourself against fraud and scammers, as well as how to report fraud. The Competition Bureau even has a quiz to test your knowledge!
