This mixed modality program is accredited by The Credit Union Institute of Canada with courses administered and examined by Dalhousie University. This program is a cornerstone for a career in credit union sales and relationship management. It provides foundational technical skills, then, through the case-based courses, facilitated learning, and skill assessment, participants not only apply their knowledge but prove they have the high level of skills needed to build solid relationships with credit union members.

Program Requirements

To complete the program and become an Accredited Canadian Credit Union Sales Professional you must complete the following courses:

  • CUIC 185 – Products & Services
  • CUIC 201 – Credit Unions: Different by Design
  • Approved sales training program completion (CU-Master or other)
  • Applied Financial Guidance
  • Achieve a minimum “proficient” rating in the following benchmark assessments (current Skillsoft Percipio License required):
  • Selling Skills
  • Customer Service Essentials
  • Listening
  • Communication Essentials
  • Building Collaborative Relationships

Upon completion of this program, you will receive a digital credential marking your achievement as an “Accredited Canadian Credit Union Sales Professional”, a nationally recognized accreditation.
