Cusource® Professional Development and Education is launching new FSR e-Modules, designed to help new and veteran financial service representatives achieve maximum success in their roles. The first available module is ‘Understanding Time Value of Money’, a 30 minute session meant to introduce participants to common calculations associated with time value of money.
Completing this course will credit union staff to:
- Calculate future values of money invested for one or more periods.
- Calculate present values of money to be received one or more periods into the future.
- Calculate future and present values for multiple cash flows.
- Explain the difference between an ordinary annuity and an annuity due.
- Calculate effective annual rates and annual percentage rates.
Aside from FSRs, this course is also recommended for those who serve members and are required to have working knowledge of investments and the calculation of interest earned on those investments, such as investment professionals and others who refer business within the credit union.
