Take the Opportunity to Learn, Grow, and Share with The National Mentorship Program

The National Mentorship Program (NMP) is a fully funded CCUA program that connects experienced leaders with credit union professionals looking for guidance, support, and skill development in their current roles.


NMP also allows mentors to transfer their unique knowledge of the credit union sector to mentees so they can pay their knowledge forward and ensure their future success. This focus on knowledge transference has resulted in over 600 matches since the emergence of the NMP and has helped many credit union professionals see progress in their career paths.


When asked why she is returning as a mentor in this year’s program, Erin Hancock stated:

I am grateful for the mentorship program as a younger credit union director. I was able to be mentored by someone with a lot of sage experience and with footing in a more complex credit union, so she offered insight and coaching to help me inspire change and growth within my credit union. I was able to glean perspective on areas for growth and exploration on my own learning journey as well. I would absolutely recommend the program with enthusiasm. Education is one of our foundational principles as financial co-operatives and mentorship offers a lot of value in this realm.”
