CCUA has recently launched a crisis communications web page with helpful information on crisis preparedness, including crisis communications protocols, sample crisis communications plan, checklist, key messages bank, etc. For further information, click here.
The web page launch is part of CCUA's ongoing efforts to safeguard the credit union system's reputation for strength and stability. Also, last year, CCUA convened a Crisis Communications Working Group to prevent issues from developing into crises and proactively manage communications during a crisis. The working group consists of communications leaders with representation from the Centrals and credit unions across provinces.
