Exciting news for directors who have attended CCUA's National Conference earlier this month in Halifax! If you require continuing education (CE) credits to maintain your graduate or accreditation status in the CUDA program, and you attended CCUA's annual conference, you can claim ten CE credits on your annual attestation!

As a reminder, CUDA graduates require six CE credits per year, so if you attended conference, your annual requirement is complete. Furthermore, Accredited Canadian Credit Union Directors (ACCUDs) require twelve CE credits per year to maintain their designation, and you can confirm other director activities that may qualify for CE credits here.  

Do you need assistance submitting your annual attestation?  

The client solutions team has added a 2-minute video tutorial to CCUA Campus to help walk you through the entire attestation process. Simply use your credit union email address and password to log into CCUA Campus and navigate to the Directors Resource Channel. 

Submission of Continuing Education documents

No documents are submitted during your annual attestation. Directors complete a statement, attesting that they have completed activities that qualify for at least the minimum number of CE credits each year. Directors must submit their annual attestation before December 31 of the year following their graduation or accreditation.  

Directors will not be asked to submit their proof of completion unless they are selected by our academic partner, Dalhousie University, for documentation audit. The audit is conducted on 10% of annual attestations each year. If you are selected to submit your documents, you will be contacted by the Registrar.
