On March 8th we celebrated International Women's Day, but despite all of the achievements and progress that has been over the years, there is still much work to do to close the gender parity gap in Canada. According to the Canadian Women's Foundation, women are 60% less likely than men to move from middle management to executive ranks.
This is likely why the "women's stream" of CCUA's National Mentorship Program (NMP) continues to be one of the most popular streams. It pairs women leaders with women looking to learn from those who are leading the way. Simply put - it's an opportunity for women to empower other women. The program runs from April 1- November 30.
