This month, CCUA Education and Professional Development would like to spotlight Laura Garand of Access Credit Union, who is currently working on two accreditations simultaneously: The Consumer and Residential Mortgage Lender Accreditation and the Financial Service Representative Accreditation. While that might overwhelm some, Laura is quick to point out,

“Working through the learning paths has been helpful for understanding the “why” of many of the processes within my role as a Financial Services Officer.”

When asked if Laura was able to apply her learning in her role as an FSR she replied,

“Understanding why all the details are necessary has made it easier to see the big picture of my role and retain all of the things I had to learn.”
