CCUA recently took part in a Ministry roundtable with some of our members around strengthening capital markets and capital formation within Ontario. It was a great dialogue with the Ministry and their capital formation team. One key area of focus for this team is digital asset growth, through both payments and potentially in the future deposits. CCUA will continue to push and advocate for a level playing field between credit unions and banks regarding digital assets and the potential for deposit-taking in the future.
