Congratulations 2024 CUIC Graduates!
CCUA would like to extend our sincerest congratulations to the recent 2024 CUIC graduates who received their digital accreditation or designation, awarded
This month’s learner spotlight shines a much-deserved light on Rochelle Pelly, Branch Manager at Me-Dian Credit Union.
Rochelle leveraged her Bachelor of Commerce to obtain advanced standing in the FCUIC program and was granted her Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada designation in February 2022. When asked why she felt it was important to complete this general business studies program, with a credit union focus, she said:
The FCUIC accreditation was the perfect way to bridge my previous post-secondary training with courses that were credit union specific. This provided me with the fundamental knowledge to understand why credit unions are invaluable to our members. CCUA also provides ongoing learning opportunities to further my professional development with other accreditations, such as the ACUIC program I am currently enrolled in. I recommend exploring the accreditations CCUA has to offer!

As Rochelle mentions, she is currently on track to finish her ACUIC designation in the next two years and also participated as a panelist in this year’s Reconciliation Awareness and It’s Importance to Credit Unions’ webinar on September 29 2023. Way to go, Rochelle! Congratulations!
