The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) have created ISO/IEC 42001 in collaboration with AI stakeholders. The international standard provides a certifiable and comprehensive framework for organizations to establish, implement, and continuously improve their AI governance systems. This standard could play a crucial role in complying with the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act, which is currently before a parliamentary committee for a clause-by-clause review.
