The Government of Canada is looking for input from Canadians and organizations, including credit unions, to help shape its progress report on the United Nations' 2030 agenda and sustainable development goals. This is an opportunity for credit unions to share how they are supporting stronger communities, financial inclusion, economic resilience, and sustainable growth across Canada.

Employment and Social Development Canada has launched a nationwide engagement process open from August 21 to December 18, 2026 to inform Canada's third progress report, that will be presented at the United Nations high-level political forum in July 2027. The report will highlight Canada's progress toward the seventeen sustainable development goals, an internationally recognized framework focused on economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
