On June 16th, CMHC and Statistics Canada are hosting an exclusive webinar for CCUA members. This will be an opportunity to connect, share, and discuss some of their new and ongoing initiatives:
- CMHC Mortgage 360 Canada demo- Overview and demo of a new analytical product part of CMHC’s Housing Data Exchange. Mortgage 360 Canada is a digital interactive companion to the Residential Mortgage Industry Report, with quarterly housing market trends that you can access any time. This digital report will provide insights from both the Survey of Non-Bank Mortgage Lenders and the OSFI E2 report from federally regulated lenders.
- Update on the Survey of Non-Bank Mortgage Lenders (SNBML) –Updates on some proposed survey changes that aim to facilitate the survey response and collection process. The data collected by Statistics Canada allows the production of consistent measures of various lending segments allowing for benchmarking and comparability across the mortgage industry.
