Last week, CCUA’s Ontario Government Relations team along with Meridian’s Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer, Sunny Sodhi, met with the Deputy Speaker and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos, to speak about the credit union sector and the role credit unions play in the financial well-being of individuals, families, and communities across Ontario. We discussed important provincial legislation and consultations impacting the credit union sector, and thank MPP Triantafilopoulos for her questions, comments, and support.
