New Webinar on Canada’s Feminist Economic Recovery Plan
From massive layoffs to increased unpaid work, women have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. That’s why YWCA Canada, the nation’s largest and oldest gender equity organization, and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have worked together to develop Canada’s first nationally-focused Feminist Economic Recovery Plan.
The plan provides a fresh approach that examines the economy and gender equity together, and proposes 8 major recommendations to build Canada’s economy back better so that it becomes more inclusive and ultimately more resilient for future crises.
