Published Date: Jun 9, 2026

CCUA is proud to spotlight the exemplary achievements of our members, and we would love to take this opportunity to recognize recent graduate, Alysia Tashoots! Over the last few months, Alysia, Assistant Branch Manager at Bulkley Valley Credit Union, earned both the Accredited Consumer and Residential Mortgage Lender (ACRML) and Financial Service Representative (FSR) accreditations.

A fan of lifelong learning, Alysia shared her thoughts on her experience with the Credit Union Institute of Canada (CUIC):

I am proud to be recognized for this learner spotlight, as I continue to prioritize both personal and professional development in my role at Bulkley Valley Credit Union. Over the years, I have taken courses here and there, and when I realized I only needed a few small courses to finish both my ACRML and FSR Accreditation, I jumped at the opportunity and got them done. Having these accreditations strengthens my knowledge and enhances my skills, enabling me to contribute more effectively to my team and our members. Continuous learning is essential for delivering exceptional member service to our members and for better leadership to my team. - Alysia Tashoots, ACRML, FSR
