CCUA delivers 2026 federal pre-budget submission
On September 8, CCUA prepared a submission in response to the federal government's 2026 pre-budget consultation. The submission provides recommendations
On February 10, CCUA submitted its pre‑budget recommendations to Finance Minister Jim Reiter. The submission outlines key credit union priorities, including The Credit Union Amendment Act, the need for a strong and resilient economy, and continued attention to affordability.
Areas of focus include implementing The Credit Union Act, 2025, implementing The Saskatchewan Internal Trade and Promotion Act, ensuring credit unions are included in policy, programs and initiatives, credit union competitiveness, and support for small and medium sized businesses.
