OSFI will release its regulatory guidance on May 22, 2025. You can register for OSFI’s virtual Industry Day, which will be held two weeks later, on June 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. During this event, stakeholders can ask questions or share comments on initiatives released this quarter. Register here by June 5, 12 p.m.
Published guidance will include public consultations on the following:
- Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) discussion paper;
- Draft Liquidity Adequacy Requirements (LAR) Guideline; and
- Draft Minimum Capital Test (MCT) Guideline.
OSFI will also issue a policy update related to a regulatory notice for changes to the Life Insurance Capital Adequacy Test (LICAT). It will also provide insights from OSFI’s Standardized Climate Scenario Exercise (SCSE) at Industry Day.
