On Friday, May 9th, Premier John Hogan and his new Cabinet were officially sworn in at Government House following his recent victory in the NL Liberal leadership race.

There were several notable shifts within the Cabinet:

• Minister Elvis Loveless has transitioned from Minister of Digital Government and Service NL to Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
• Minister Sarah Stoodley returns as the Minister Responsible for the Credit Union Act, leading the newly renamed Department of Government Modernization and Service Delivery.
• Minister John Abbott, the other candidate in the Liberal leadership race, returns to Cabinet as Minister of Seniors and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation.
• Minister Steve Crocker is now serving as Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, as well as Minister Responsible for Trade Opportunities.

Minister Siobhan Coady remains in her role as Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance.
