On September 27, CCUA, in partnership with Dalhousie University, brought you Jude Gerrard as a distinguished guest speaker for our Truth: Reconciliation to Reconcili-action session. Participants of this webinar can now post a response to one of four questions inside CCUA Campus to be eligible for this coveted scholarship. 

Responses must be received before 5 pm ET on Friday October 4. All entries will be reviewed by a selection committee at Dalhousie University, and the successful candidate will be announced in the CCUA Insider on Wednesday October 30, on the CCUA NewsHub, and contacted via email.

About the Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion explores the struggles organizations face in achieving equity, inclusion, and harmonious environments. Through participation in the certificate, learners will explore ways to create safe spaces to engage in real dialogue, policies around fairness, respect and civility, and strategies for navigating sensitive issues related to diversity and inclusion.

This certification requires a learner to complete 80 instructional hours of training and the four certification courses within 3 years. The certificate courses are: 

• OLCD-IDEA0001 Understanding EDI: An Organization Imperative
• OLCD-IDEA0002 Inclusive Communications in the Workplace
• OLCD-IDEA0003 Optimizing Diverse Team Performance
• OLCD-IDEA0004 Strategies for Implementing EDI Initiatives
