CCUA Education and Professional Development is committed to ensuring Canadian Credit Union directors have the knowledge needed to guide their organizations. The Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) FastTrack program allows new directors to apply their existing governance credentials towards advanced standing in the CUDA program. By leveraging the FastTrack program, directors can graduate from the CUDA program in as little as three months.

Catherine Roome, Prospera Credit Union board of director, was one of the first CUDA FastTrack participants and now holds her CUDA graduate status. When asked of the program, Catherine says:

“I thoroughly enjoyed the CUDA courses. Everyone had such high engagement and the instructors, to a person, were insightful, well prepared, and enthusiastic.”

Catherine is the Chair of the People Experience Committee, a member of the Business Transformation and Risk, Investment, and Loan Committees. She is also a member of the CCUA governance advisory.
