This week, Westoba Credit Union donated $15,000 to the Somerset Community Hall Committee as part of their Westoba Credit Union Inspire Program. This donation will go towards creating accessible washroom facilities in the hall and performing an overall update of the hall’s facilities to ensure it meets current accessibility requirements and improves the well-being of all those in the community.

Westoba Branch Manager for Swan Lake and Pilot Mound and resident of Somerset, Jackie Shoemaker said these projects are an important part of the community well-being. "It is so important to give back to our local communities for their projects to keep our towns alive and thriving,” said Shoemaker. “Being part of a cooperative is just that- giving back; I am very excited to be able to be part of this exciting news and we look forward to being involved in more Somerset events."
