Leverage Your Governance Credentials and Become a CUDA Grad with the FastTrack Program

CCUA Education & Professional Development is committed to ensuring Canadian credit union directors have the knowledge needed to guide their organizations. The Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) FastTrack program allows new directors to apply their existing governance credentials for advanced standing in the CUDA program. Designed for board directors with a strong governance knowledge base, the CUDA FastTrack program is an excellent option for directors to match their existing expertise with credit union governance best practices. Want to know the best part? Directors can graduate from the CUDA program in as little as three months!

The Spring 2024 FastTrack program is now open for enrollment, with sessions starting on April 10, 2024. Interested directors can start the process by submitting their governance program transcripts through CCUA Campus here.

Interested in Spring governance training? Register for the below courses: 

  • Level A Foundations of Governance in Theory & Action – This course is suitable for new directors or those returning as directors who have completed the six online modules. This online instructor-led training allows directors to participate in foundational training and have confidence in their role to understand the principles of good governance. This course kicks off on March 5th!
  • Level CE: Building an Effective Board of Directors – Facilitated by Ed Sarnecki, this eClass illustrates why it is essential that boards of directors plan for, develop, and maintain a truly effective board – one that not only meets its legal requirements but is also a source of added value for the credit union. This coveted eClass starts on March 26th!
  • Level B: Strategy: Planning & Oversight – In this course, directors will learn about their roles and responsibilities specifically related to strategic planning. Through animated group discussions and case analysis, directors will leave this session with a greater understanding of the board’s governance role in the strategic planning process: from visioning and goal setting to monitoring implementation and recognizing the need for change. Begins on April 2nd!
