CCUA’s Bylaws require a mandatory review to be completed every three years. A Bylaw review provides an opportunity to consider CCUA’s governance responsibilities and the important role that credit unions play as owners and governors of their industry association.
CCUA’s Board of Directors began the process of Bylaw review early in 2021. The Governance & HR Committee was assigned to work with management to address any known issues with the Bylaws and to consider how the Bylaws could be adapted to enhance CCUA’s governance framework.
The Consultation Paper outlines proposed changes to CCUA’s Bylaws and in particular CCUA’s Peer Group structure. We are seeking credit union feedback by March 18, 2022.
