On Tuesday May 18^th, CCUA, BCFSA and OBSI jointly presented the British Columbia Market Conduct Code implementation plan. The presentation included a briefing on the latest drafted material as well as recent updates to the code, such as a new section related to preventing financial exploitation of vulnerable members, such as seniors. In connection with the market code and its legislative requirements, BCFSA outlined its reporting expectations for the sector-led initiative.
